Try J. Org Chem 1991 2648-2650 G. Whitesides. More recent papers include RCMS
Vol 7 225-228 (1993) A. Grey Craig (MALDI & TCEP) and Analytical Biochemistry
Vol 220 pg 5-10 1994 by Han & Han. I think there are also more recent ones but
I've misplaced them too!

Does anybody know the reaction mechanism of the reduction of disulfides by
Tris-carboxyethyl-phosphine. I remember to have seen a proposed mechanism in
a short paper or a book but I cannot find it anymore (I always thought to
have a good retrieval system for all the copied papers I have - but nothing
is perfect).
