With regard to the recent queries about polyacrylamide carriers for
antibody production, we have had reasonable success generating high
affinity antipeptide antibodies from synthetic peptides conjugated to
Affi-gel 702 polyacrylamide beads (Crabb et al., 1991, JBC 266,
16674-16683). In the past, we purchased Affi-gel 702 from BioRad.
BioRad may be able to tell you were to find it if it is no longer in their
catalogue.
