Have recently seen a strange patch of yellowish haze in some of my
sequencing runs. ( ABI 377 ) It has occured twice but not in
consecutive runs. It appeared, each time, approximately 2 hours into
the run. It usually occurs in one sample lane but has a tendency to
obscure adjacent lanes if the intensity of the patch is strong enough
which seemed to vary. On the chromatograms the patch appears as a
blob of T's which typically obscures two or three bases.
I know it's possible that this could be coming from a number
of sources running buffer, loading buffer, column clean up but I thought
maybe someone has seen this artifact before.
Appreciate any help, thanx.
