Not being a molecular biologist I need some help with the following:
I have a virus that is full of RNA. I want to know if I have ruptured the
structure of my virus and let the RNA out. I thought maybe I could run the
virus and supernatant liquid on a non-denaturing gel and somehow visualize
the RNA. I know that I can visualize DNA with Ethidium Bromide. How would
I visualize RNA?
Could I run this on an agarous gel?
help is appreciated.
