Sequencher 3.0 from Gene Codes and Lasergene from DNAStar also align
chromatograms.
Sequencher is the best buy far.
I'll start a rumor buy hoping that Navigator dies the miserable death it
deserves by spring.
And thank you to all who answered my earlier post through the back channel
agreeing with me on 1/2 and full reactions. I thought we were the lone
holdout that was sticking with full reactions. The consensus of these
messages were:
Optimize by going with a full reaction and optimize the cost by negotiating
with the chemistry vendor.
Addendum: We have tried the new version of ThemoSequanase dye terminators
and are now converts. Gumby needs are help and hopefully competition will
ease the need to short change Gumby's reaction.
