ABRF members,
After 14 years of outstanding operation I am going to retire my ABI
Model 470 protein sequencer and purchase a replacement. I am seeking the
advice of the protein sequencing community of ABRF regarding currently
available instrumentation. I am seriously considering the PE/ABI model 492
but would like to hear the opinions of those who own and operate current
models by other vendors who should be considered (HP and Beckman, for
example). Does ABI have any serious competition for automated protein
sequencers?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Mark
