If we were going to add Fmoc Beta Ala to a Hydroxyl functionalized
solid support, we would use:
4 equivalents of diisopropylcarbodiimide
4 equivalents of Fmoc Beta Ala (OH)
0.4 equivalents of DMAP
reaction time of 1 hour
normally you would be concerned about racemization, but that is not an
issue with Beta Ala.
