The Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas
at Austin invites applications for a Director of the Protein Microanalysis
Facility and the DNA Core Facility. The successful applicant will be
expected to supervise technical staff in both units and to provide research
expertise and guidance in modern protein chemistry. The two facilities are
part of a research support core in the Institute and provide state of the
art technologies to a wide range of researchers on campus. The new
Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biology is headed by Dr. Alan
Lambowitz with participating faculty in several life science departments;
the group is currently strong and will be augmented by vigorous growth,
including fourteen new faculty hires at both the junior and senior level,
over the next few years. Austin is widely recognized as one of America's
most beautiful and livable cities.

research experience and future goals, together with at least three letters
of recommendation.
