"Post-translational Modifications of Proteins" Krishna and Wold pg167-172

Finn Wold lists 17 modifications of lysine and 19 for cysteine. Some of
these can be detected by amino acid analysis, but MS is generally the
preferred methodology since acid hydrolysis in some cases destroys,
changes, or releases the modification. Earlier publications by Finn list
references for each modification.

I still have a few copies of "Tables of Amino Acids" ABRF Workshop July
1995 which lists amino acids which have been detected by amino acid
analysis. Let me know if you can use a copy.
