I attended the "Large Scale Oligo Synth" mtg in San Diego in Oct 97 and
enjoyed and it was worth the money. I have only been to this one meeting
so I'm not sure if that mtg was the norm. The contacts and interaction of
attendees was well worth the trip and money; the packet they prepared of
speakers presentations was fairly good; the speakers could have had better
presentation skills and slide preparation - but IBC cannot be totally
responsible for that.
