Dear Folks,

I'm interested in literature on the analysis of underivatized amino
acids by ESI or APCI. I've seen quite a bit in conjuction with Edman
chemistry, and other derivatives, but very little on underivatized AA's.
Am I missing a whole chunk of literature or do underivatized AA's simply
not fly well? The research is directed towards quantitative metabolism
studies, not protein sequencing. Thanks for any and all info and please
forgive me if I've asked the obvious.
