I was using the software MacBioSpec from PE-Sciex to help me assign
dissulfide bonds. It caused a few system crashes (but was working most of
the time), then I tried to check this problem. I installed the extension
Software FPU (as suggested by their text file) and the MacBioSpec didn't
even start. After this I removed the extension and the software is not
starting anymore. Can anyone help me with this problem? The manual says
clearly that the software may not run and is not supproted, but it was
running!
Besides this problem, does anyone know any software or web site to predict
masses of digested proteins with dissulfide bonds?
