A recent message from Larry Thrower asked about Pharmacia's 2-D gel system versus
those from ESA. I am also interested in this question but furthermore I would
like to hear from those of you have purchased imaging systems for 2-D gels. Any
recommendations or critiques are welcome. I would much prefer software suited
for a Macintosh but I can use a Windows machine if absolutely necessary.
Larry, you may want to go to the ABRF newsgroup archives and look for a letter
from Axel Ducret (I think it was from him!) which has a lot of information
regarding Pharmacia versus ESA--I think this letter was posted in December 1997.
I'd send it on to you but my (bleep) E-mail program corrupted a lot of my
stored files and I'm having trouble recovering them.
