Hi everybody
I run a Beckman LF 3000 sequencer. For several month now I have seen
a peak right on top of PTH-Asp when PTH-Pro is coming. Is this PTC-Pro?
The ratio PTC-Pro(?)/PTH-Pro is about 1 to 3 and is quite constant.
The most obvious reasons: TFA concentration in R4, and R4 delivery were
carefully checked and seemed to be OK. No other amino acid showed the
problem. Shall I increase TFA?
By the way, is there a more recent collection of data than in The First
Edition of 'Identification of Modified PTH-Amino acids' by Crankshaw
and Grant?
