All of us know how expensive is to run a thing known as a Core Lab. Beeing a
non-profit organization we would still like (= we have to) to cover most of
our expenses. Our customers have been already charged for DNA sequencing and
synthesis, and also for chromatographic analyses.
What kind of algorithm do you use for charging users who frequently play
with your instruments (e.g. ultracenrifuge, HPLC, Phosphor Imager, Gene
Pulser, Densitometer, Luminiscence Spectrometer, UV/VIS Spectrometer, etc.).
Do you count on an instrument life span, service expenses, what a competitor
charges...
