See this reference for specific synthesis of paraller &
antiparalllel homodimers of a vasopressin-like peptide, CLITNCPRG-NH2.
The antiparallel dimer was faster eluting on RPLC. Also included is
mention of an old procedure of du Vigneaud's for equilibration of the
monomeric, cyclic peptide to a mixture of both dimers + monomer using Et3N
+ acetic acid- the latter procedure very simple and quick, if inelegant.
