Analytical Biochemist, Monsanto Company (G.D. Searle), Bioprocess
Technology, St. Louis, MO
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree, several years of practical protein
characterization experience and a working knowledge of cGMP/GLP.
Bioprocess Technology is responsible for the development and optimization
of processes to produce bio-pharmaceutical drug candidates. This person
will be responsible for developing a broad range of analytical methods to
characterize micro-heterogeneities in biological products in an effort
to demonstrate product consistency and support process development. More
specifically, we are seeking a person with skills in electrophoresis,
including SDS-PAGE, IEF, and western blotting, with the expectation that
CE and 2-D applications will be added to meet project needs.
This opportunity exists at our R&D site in suburban Chesterfield, MO.
The qualified candidate must have excellent written and verbal
communication skills combined with a knowledge of current FDA and ICH
guidelines. A commitment to work safely and efficiently in a team-based
environment is essential.
