Here are a few HPLC standard mixtures for peptide and protein
work. You might also check these companies for low MW stds.

>From Pierce Chemical Co:
Peptide Retention Standard (Cat. # 31700)
contains 5 C-terminal amide decapeptides

>From PE-Applied Biosystems:
Protein mixture for reverse-phase HPLC
contains insulin, cytochrome C, lactalbumin,
carbonic anhydrase, ovalbumin

Peptide mixture for reverse phase HPLC
contains tryptic digest of beta-lactoglobulin A

Protein mixture for ion-exchange and hydrophobic interaction
(HIC) HPLC
contain ovalbumin, lactalbumin, chymotrypsinogen A,
lysosyme, ribonuclease A
