In this method the carboxamides are converted to their corresponding
amines. The analysis is based "not on the amount of amine generated but on
the difference in values for aspartic acid and glutamic acid obtained
after acid hydrolysis without and with prior treatment of the polypeptide
with BTI".
Questions:
1. How well has this method worked in other laboratories?
2. Is there a newer and better procedure?
3. I need names of laboratories willing to run analyses for Gln and Asn.
