Soundproofing an MS room

I have two mass spectrometers in a fairly small room behind closed doors
and the noise is definitely above background level. Does anybody know
where I can get sound absorbing material to put on the walls. It seems
to me that recording studios have asponge-like foam material stuck to
the walls. There must be someplace I can get this or perhaps get some
sponges from the local Home-Depot and superglue them to the wall.
Any ideas ?
