Hello. During my days of managing a HP minicomputer used for data
acquisition (pre-PCs), I went overboard and installed thick foam
sound-absorbing panels around the computer rack. It could have been the
Sonex product. All I accomplished was to deaden sound echoes. The hum
from the component fans was still evident. After that exercise, I came to
the conclusion that results are in the ears of the beholder. Regards, Tom
