Patrick,
I coated a wall behind a large and whiny MALDI/TOF with "SONEX classic"
panels. I found the stuff on the web. Here is a picture:
http://www.crocker.com/~silent/panels/panels.htm
and the address I got it from:
SILENT SOURCE - 58 Nonotuck Street, Northampton, MA 01060
phone/fax: (413) 584-7944 order line: (800) 583-7174
It works. I'm now putting it behind everything in the lab including
whiny hard drives. It passes Hospital fire regs and I just use push pins
along the top edge to install.
hope this helps, Paul

ps. And if any DNA Sequencers have read this far and not submitted data,
get off your butt. Fun fact: Dominatrix appears on 11,328 web sites.
