Gary, I made up fresh A and the problem did not go away. The lysine in the
standard runs fine. I'm thinking there may be an air leak in the sequencer.

You might try switching A buffer? If the problem follows the old buffer,
you have it. Old A buffer will result in a decrease in PTH-amino acid
yield. Lysine seems particularly susceptible. This may be due to free
radical buildup.
