I would like to add to my reply on aspartimide formation. It does not occur
unless there is an H available at the peptide bond, so it does not occur
over an asp-pro. I have seen it across DG, DN, DD, DK, DR in decreasing
order of severity. I have seen it to a small extent, usually <10% across
other residues. It can also occur across Asn-X but I find this is less
common.
