Genetics Institute's Protein Chemistry department has a position open
for a Ph.D. - level scientist to be an integral part of our
proteomics program. The successful candidate should have proven
experience with protein identification from polyacrylamide gels by
mass spectrometry. Proficiency in electrophoretic separations,
particularly 2D-PAGE, microscale sample manipulation, and
protein/peptide analysis by mass spectrometry is essential.
Additional experience with biological systems for the application of
these technologies would be extremely desirable as well as
demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with protein
identification software. This position requires an innovative, highly
motivated candidate with a Ph.D. and relevant experience, plus the
ability to work independently and as part of a team.
