Are you sure you have a protein? There is also the possibility that you
may have a very high carbohydrate content glycoprotein. I once dealt a
protein isolated from Rose Hips that had only a low percentage of
polypeptide.
If you saved the PVDF from the sequencing attempt, you can do AAA and
maybe answer both questions.
