The book that you referred to, "Troubleshooting LC systems: a
comprehensive approach to troubleshooting LC equipment and separations" by
J.W. Dolan and L.R. Snyder published in 1989 by Humana Press in Clifton,
New Jersey. I noticed that it is also sold in the 1997 Sigma catalog for
$98.10. An advertising brochure that I have from Human Press (which does
not list that book) gives their address as
