Dear Ian,
I presume you are using a chemstation to control the 1050. If you
type macro in the command line of the chemstation you will see a scroll list
of available macros. Choose the "tools" macro and a new pull down menu at
the top of the chemstation window will appear. (If you don't see tools, you
will need to install the macro from the supplementary user contributed
macros) From tools, choose the data interchange tools, and then
chromatogram. This now gives you a number of formats to save the file as.
Choose ".dif" and save the file. In Origin, under file choose import "dif"
and off you go.
