I have received some replies indicating interest in a discussion of Real
Time PCR. It looks like we will be able to meet in the evening.
Some background about my interest in getting together. Nearly all of the
present machines have been purchased by pharmaceutical companies.
Therefore, a lot of information including probe and primer sequences have
not been published. I would like to network with other academic or
government users in order to share this knowledge.
It looks as if those who are interested do not have a 7700 yet but have
been considering it so I will be prepared to give some background info
based on my "year" of experience.
The time and place will be forthcoming and I am not sure if I will know
before I leave on Thursday so watch for info at the meeting.
