We have an FPD detector from a 1989 vintage HP 1090 that is
available to a good home for free (preferably an academic lab)! We
replaced it with an HP 1100 variable wavelength detector, which has better
signal to noise ratio of about 10X. The deuterium lamp is shot, but with
a new lamp it is in running condition. It is probably not supported by the
new Windows ChemStation software.
Only catch is YOU pay for the freight charges. Please also note
that this unit has no chassis and will only work as a component of an HP
1090.
