MS transit time?

I am interested in finding out the time interval between the formation of
droplet from the capillary tip in ESI-MS and the production of the naked
gas-phase ion. The info regarding nanoflow ESI would be extremely
helpful, but that for conventional ESI would be useful too. Any
suggestions on papers to look up?

At the moment, I am not "fully registered" with abrf yet. So, please
