LC Packings (USA) is the distributor for the manufacturing facility in
Amsterdam. We are looking for a B.S. or M.S. in Analytical Chemistry or
Biochemistry for the following position:
1. Title:
Sales/instrumentation specialist / technical support
2. Goals:
Generate sales
Generate further acceptance of Capillary LC in general and LC Packings in
particular among potential users:
-protein/peptide
-mass spectrometry
-pharmaceutical/bioanalysis
-environmental
Generate awareness of performance of LC Packings products:
-reproducability
-ease of use
-price/performance
3. Activity:
Introduce potential customers fo Capillary LC and its advantages and
possibilities by hands-on demonstrations
Instrument set-up and training for users
Support customers in applications and troubleshooting
Recognize user wishes and requirements for future product enhancements or
new product development
Participate in trade events
Phone support from San Francisco office, including follow up of sales leads
4. Time Schedule:
70% in San Francisco office
-generate sales
-technical support
-office support for placing orders, shipping products, literature mailings
30% on the road
-demonstrations
-installations
-training
-trade shows/conferences
