but I think ABI said that about the 470 also. What my lab does with
the left over from the bottle change is to use it on the 470, which is
less sensitive to old chemicals than the Procise cLC. What is really
costly is the wasted PTH column which degrades at idle.The chemical
waste or wasted chemicals are hard to factor in, but here's a try. As
a rule of thumbb the reagent cost will be twice company's figures,
because of wasted chemicals and shipping and that we don't charge
internal client for uncalled residues.
