Dear ABRF Listers:
Thank you all for the input that I received.
Several of the responses requested more information. Below you will find some
more detail that some of you asked for as well as the e-mail address of the
person who is looking for the oligo.
If you can help, please respond.
Thanks in advance
John Urh

Dear Mr John Urh:
Thank you for taking the trouble for me.
I was looking for a single-strand ladder of 10nt -40nt size range.
Gibco-BRL makes a ladder, called Oligo dT(4-22) ladder, but it has
several flaws. For example, the larger bands are more difficult to see
and the preparation appears to contain small amounts DNA of larger
sizes. Presently, I am gel purifying some oligos that I have, in order to
supplement this ladder to get the size range, but the problem with my
approach is, when I have oligos of different sequences, they do not
migrate predictably. I think that the ideal ladder would be a tandem
AT-repeat ladder, such as AT (5-40) . If it is not too much trouble,
please let me know if such a thing is commercially available.
Regards,
Dhruba Chakravarti.
