It also takes some effort to get rid of TBA from the LC tubings completely. I
believe Kerry Nugent from Michrom has published a paper on RPLC analysis of
peptides that included the comparison of different ion pairing acids,
detergents and pH etc. Sorry I don't have the reference on hand, he can be
