I have used 1 mm columns on an ABI 120 for the last year, using
a 75 ul mixer and low volume flow cell, both from ABI.

To mount the mixer (probably made for the 140), I used a piece
of angle aluminum, and bolted on the motor from the old mixer
to save changing the electrical connections (a suggestion from
a service engineer).

Initially the baseline was bad but now I can run at 0.02 AUFS.
