further to my announcement of the relocation of the ABRF WWW site to
http://www.abrf.org I am please to announce the implementation of a new
powerful search engine for your use.
The search engine may be accessed from the home page and, thanks to a lot
of hard work by Dirk Krapf, searches now cover the whole ABRF site
INCLUDING the archives of this most valuable email discussion forum.
You may use either simple word searches or powerful boolean search
expressions including AND,NOT,NEAR connectors to locate documents. The
search routine (called ht:/Dig as in "DIG with a spade") even allows for
modest spelling mistakes.
The engine is quite fast as it relies on an index, but don't expect that
you will find this message if you search for it today, the index is
presently only set to update weekly (each Sunday).
I hope you find value in this facility and, as always, comments and
suggestions are always welcome.
