ABRF members

I think that there needs to be some more discussion about the fact
that there seem to be two questions involved in proposition #2. The
first question is whether to increase the number of Board members from 6 to
8. This seems a reasonable thing to do. The second part of the question
is whether to increase the term of office to 4 years. I think that this is
NOT a reasonable thing to do. I think that the more frequent turnover is
necessary to keep the EB in touch with its members and provide fresh
insights. The three year schedule seems to have worked adequately so far
and such a long term commitment might limit the number of interested
people.
Therefore, I am forced to vote No on the second issue even though
I approve of expanding the Board to 8 members. I hope that all will
consider the two different aspects of this proposition in making their
final decision.
As for proposition #1 - what Lowell, Tony, Paul, Greg and Michail
said. ABRF should remain ABRF.
