Hello All,
Does anyone have a good positive I.D. test to confirm the
presence of hydroxyethyl cellulose, or any cellulose type, in a rather
viscous solution? There is a complication in that there is protein in
this solution as well. Do you think IR spectroscopy might do the trick
or are there any easy chemical tests which could be used? Thanks in
advance.
