I checked out the diac web site, and it does look like a hoax

This is the latest in a long series of virus hoaxes that have traveled around
by e-mail. No such virus exists, and no such warning has been issued by
Microsoft. It is currently impossible for a virus to have such an effect simply
through reading an e-mail message - there has to be at least an attached file.

The most well-known hoax of this type was the warning about the alleged "Good
Times" virus, which has circulated for years. A good web site to read up on
these is at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Computer Incident
Advisory Center (run by the US Department of Energy):
http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html

Another site that monitors this sort of thing is the International Computer
Security Association:
http://www.ncsa.com/services/consortia/anti-virus/alerthoax.html

I would recommend that everyone check these sites before worrying about any
future virus warnings.
