JobOpen:Genentech's Analytical Chemistry Department has a position open
for a Scientist or Associate Scientist. Ph.D. in biochemistry or related
field, with an emphasis in MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and broad training
in protein chemistry techniques, is required. Candidate should have a
track record of developing novel approaches in the application of
MALDI-TOF/MS to problems in structural assignment and instrument
performance. Strong data management skills are desirable.
The Analytical Chemistry Department has reponsibilities for supporting
product development, including the determination of protein/glycoprotein
structures, identification of variants and degradation products and
analytical methods development.
