I need to synthesize a tetrapeptide with Asp at the third position and Ser
on the side chain of Asp. (Ser being the fourth amino acid of the
tetramer). I just want to verify this: Is this right to use the
Fmoc-Asp-OtBu (#04-12-1080 from Novabiochem) which has its alpha-carboxy
blocked and its side chain carboxy unblocked.
Is there an other derivatives that would be better?
