I am not an expert in digestions, but thrombin and Factor X come to
mind as being specific for Arg. Inactivating them at the end of a
digestion cannot be done with PMSF, however, to the best of my
understanding, but require diisopropylfluorophosphate, which is much more
toxic than PMSF.
