I will try to explain what we need. We are trying to design a detection
system for the following:
We have oligonucleotides of various lengths that we are attaching to
plates (or something) with a biotin group which has been added during
chemical synthesis.
We want to know what kinds of "groups" we can add during chemical
synthesis that we can later detect on the oligo by using commercially
available anitbodies.
Hope this makes sense. I am the synthesis person, not the
microbiologist...but can forward any suggestions to that person.
Thanks for any leads you can give us.
Sincerely,
Winnell
