The following are the results of the recent bylaws vote. A total of 321
ballots were received, but not everyone voted for both issues.
Change of Name: 111 approved, 179 disapproved (Name remains ABRF.)
Change to term/size of Executive Board: 260 approved, 33 disapproved
The executive board appreciates the good turnout of votes, and wishes to
underscore that our mission remains "to promote and support resource
facilities, research laboratories, and individual researchers regarding
operation, research, and development in the areas of methods, techniques,
and instrumentation relevant to the analysis and synthesis of
biomolecules", to support the needs of our members in both academic and
biotechnology environments.
