this is in response to the LCQ part of your message. It's good to hear
that other people doing the same thing that I am doing. The LCQ is very
sensitive in the nanospray mode. But, as you mentioned the problem is
finding the peptide ions. We also have to do many zoom scans (10 per 100
Da) in order to find them. I wish there was a way of automating this
process of "zoom scan" walking. Has anybody developed a method on the LCQ
that does just that?
