LCQ data processing

I have my own story about LCQ data system. I hope my fellow
colleagues can help me because I could not get it from Finnigan.
I am used to the fast and easy use of Micromass masslynx data system,
when I try to do the similar function in LCQ, I got really frustrated.

To pull a mass from a full scan LC/MS file (reconstructed ion current), It
takes only a few seconds in MassLynx system (I used to display as
many as a dozen masses) in a 100MHz 32MB computer. However, In
LCQ, when I do the same thing by display the range, it takes forever. For
a 20 minutes LC/MS file, it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to display one
mass. If I want to display more (say one compound, and 5 metabolites), I
better take a break and go get a couple of coffee and come back. If I
don't get out of memory message(in a 266Mhz, 64 MB), I am lucky.

I don't know if any body has similar experience like this. I hope this is only
the problem of my computer configuration, not the software itself.

There are a lot of nice things about LCQ, however, software does need
improvement!!!
