Bizarre sequencing results

Hi,
In addition to the comments from Robert Lyons it was communicated to
me by an ABI Applications Specialist that the plate build up is some sort of
polymer possibly from the acrylamide. This polymer build up is also the
cause of gel extrusion from the top of the plates. Some detergents do help
and hot water washes also help. The ABI Applications Specialist also said
running the plates through an empty dishwasher at home with no soap will
also help reduce the polymer build up.
