A local landlord is clearing out a lab and wants to get rid of the furniture
(the chemicals and glassware have already been disposed of). This includes a
half dozen hoods from 3-6' wide, seemingly in good repair, and several that
show some corrosion. There are also a fair number of benches with stone or
epoxy tops. The casework's condition ranges from fair to rusty, but the tops
are great (and valuable). If anyone (end users only; no dealers) want to help
themselves, you have only to show up with a truck and some strong backs and
haul this stuff away. The location is in Maryland between Baltimore and
Washington, near I-95. HOWEVER: You have to get this stuff by next Thursday
(8/27/98); anything left after that is getting trashed. Call me for details.
