Re. Pierce Mininert valves:-
Sorry, I should have made the point that we don't use a Picotag work
station - we hydrolyse under argon in an oven at 160 deg. for 40 min. We
had a local glassblower make heavy walled hydrolysis vials specifically
to fit the Pierce valves - works for us!
